Do I need an appointment for notary services?

Yes, we recommend scheduling an appointment to ensure availability.

What do I need to bring for an On-Site notarization?

Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID and any documents that require notarization.

Can your mobile notary help me prepare my document?

Unfortunately, the answer is "No". Mobile notaries or loan signing agents, who are not licensed attorneys, are prohibited from giving legal advice or assisting customers with completing legal documents.

May I bring a copy of my license or ID? I misplaced or lost it?

All customers are required by the State of North Carolina to present an original ID to the mobile notary or loan signing agent - NO EXCEPTIONS!

My Driver's License Renewal is on order. Can I use the DMV printout for my ID?

NO!!! Acceptable forms of identification for having notarial services performed include the following:

Unexpired State-issued driver’s license.
Unexpired State-issued identification card.
Older U.S. military identification card. (Photo & signature must be present)
Unexpired Resident alien identification card (green card)
Unexpired U.S. passport

Unaccepted forms of primary identification may include the following:

Any forms of expired identification.
Temporary ID ordered or printed from the DMV.
School identification cards
Credit cards.
Debit cards.

Can I arrange to meet for Notarization if I cannot get to your office?

Yes! Dove InnerCity Notary has evening and weekend hours with the working person in mind. Schedule an appointment online for Loan Closings and General Notarizations. We will work out the logistics of when and where! Go to "Services" located in the navigation.

Can you notarize documents for someone who cannot sign?

Yes, but the person must be able to communicate their intent to sign and may need a designated representative depending on the document type.
